Back by popular demand! You can buyout your volunteer commitment (concession stand shift) for the Spring 2018 season for $100 per player you have in the league.
The buyout option will be limited and will no longer be available for purchase when the regular season starts.
To take advantage of this option, please fill out this online form and submit your payment through the website. (If you are buying out shifts for multiple children you will need to fill out the form separately for each child.)
Any $200 volunteer deposit checks that have been submitted to the league will be returned once the buyout is confirmed. If you pay for the buyout when you register, you will not be required to submit the $200 volunteer deposit.

Andrew Darke, beloved friend of Goleta Valley South Little League, passed away suddenly this past week. Andrew has been a constant presence at our fields for over 10 years serving as either manager or coach at all levels. He was a true encourager of the kids and his contagious smile and upbeat personality exemplified the positive role we can all play in the lives of our players.
Andrew was a class act, an amazing Dad, husband, friend and coach. This is a tragic loss and he will be deeply missed. Our hearts are broken for his wife Debbie, son’s Drew and Gino, daughter Isabella and the entire Darke family.
The Darke family has chosen GVSLL as an organization that friends can donate to in order to show their support of Andrew, his family and his love of baseball. GVSLL will use these funds for a special project in Andrew's memory.

We are excited to announce plans to add a second batting cage and soft toss hitting stations to our current batting cage between the minor and junior fields. The project will add needed hitting practice facilities at GVSLL. The project includes cement work, fencing, field turf, new cage framing, netting and hitting mats.
The board has raised initial funds to start the first phase, the cement and fencing work. We need your help with the second phase to purchase netting, mats and turf for the cage. Please consider donating here.

James Gordon Woods, proud Little League parent and grandparent, has passed away. James was
most happy at the baseball fields, and he especially loved watching his grandsons play baseball at GVSLL. He was a coach for little league in Buffalo, NY as well.
The Woods family has chosen GVSLL as an organization that friends can donate to in order to show their support of James, his family and his love of baseball.
